Hello, Laika. Once upon a time, at the beginning of Bannerfall. I had my first Bannerfall related dream. I was walking through the lands as none other than Apo, Apokuna herself. The lands were bleak and tattered, the few remaining walls of Blue and Red now in total Desolation. And Apo was the only one standing. Slowly they would walk through the ruins, a mixed feeling of remorse, and guilt within her as she reached their princess. Cherri of Soluna. Laying dead in the rubble, still and quiet. Deceptively beautiful like a thread of Hemlock. A smile upon her face as the sun melted below the hills above the two. And then Apo would walk on. Rebuilding the places. Empty. Alone. Nothing left in her heart. But a buried longing to bring back the past. Ghostly relics of a kingdom being taped back together like a ripped photograph. And she would haunt those lands for the rest of her days. (Reminds me of the song rec I gave.)
